About

While growing up in southern West Virginia, Jade first became interested in the law by volunteering with the Raleigh County Teen Court program and was appointed by Governor Earl Ray Tomlin to serve as a youth member on the West Virginia Juvenile Justice Subcommittee. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Concord University, where she was the President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and minored in biology, psychology, and legal studies. At Regent University School of Law, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Justice and Public Policy, was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, and graduated fourth in her class. During law school, she received invaluable experience interning at the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, Court of Appeals of Virginia, and Chesapeake Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

Before Jade began practicing family law, she worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen R. McCullough of the Supreme Court of Virginia. She is licensed to practice law in both Virginia and West Virginia and is also a certified Guardian ad litem. Through her internships and clerkship, she gained critical insight into the judicial decision-making process at all levels of the state court system. That unique exposure, combined with her zealous work ethic and passion for serving people, empowers her to advocate for clients efficiently and effectively at crucial times in their lives.

Jade is proud to now call Fredericksburg home and enjoys staying involved in the local community.
